Hello all! My name is Michael Duchemin and I am the President of the RFFOW.
I am a retired City of Bellevue firefighter (Firefighter, Paramedic, Lieutenant, Medical Services Officer, Captain and Acting Battalion Chief), and if that was not enough punishment I became an attorney half way through my firefighter career and represented a lot of IAFF Locals, including Local 27 (Seattle) and Local 1604 (Bellevue) and many others. I retired after almost 30 years in Bellevue in 2006 and from my law practice in 2018. I was also a Local 1604 Union representative and Union Secretary for many years.
My lovely wife Wendy and me are depicted to the left. I would love to meet you in person at a General Membership Meeting (on Zoom) someday soon. We have two children and seven grandchildren (our grandchildren keep us REALLY busy) and we live in Poulsbo, WA.
Please feel free to email me any time at mike@rffow.org and if you would like to talk to me I would be happy to call you back if you will provide me with your phone number in your private email.
